Welcome

Lenore Zann is an award-winning Nova Scotian actor, singer, writer, producer - and now MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly). Lenore grew up in Truro before leaving home to study Drama and Political Science at York University in Toronto, followed by a break-through starring role as the legendary Marilyn Monroe in the rock-opera "Hey Marilyn!" which is when her successful acting career began in earnest.

Lenore returned home to Truro in 2007 with 31 years of professional experience across Canada and around the globe in Film, TV, Radio, and Theatre - including several plays Off Broadway in New York, a starring role in the Atom Egoyan film "Babyface" which premiered at the Cannes Festival, and many TV roles (including "Law and Order") as well as numerous credits in popular animation series and video games - including "Rogue" in the successful "X-MEN" cartoon franchise.

Lenore was elected MLA for Truro-Bible Hill on June 9, 2009, winning 48.6% of the vote. Since then, she has been a popular and hard-working politician. A strong voice for her constituents as well as an untiring champion for the Arts, Lenore is an inspiring speaker, encouraging young women to become the leaders of tomorrow. Recently appointed as the Ministerial Assistant to the Deputy Premier, she is in demand for speaking - and singing - engagements.

Lenore produced her first CD "Change the World (one day at a time)" in order to help inspire others to believe that working together, it is indeed possible to change the world to make it a better place for all - however it can't be done overnight. We need to do it one day, one person, at a time - beginning with ourselves. The CD will soon be available through I-tunes and Amazon.
